Any student enrolled at the University of Georgia in a graduate or professional program is invited and encouraged to attend monthly meetings and participate in various activities throughout the year. GAPS does not collect membership dues or fees – all we need is you!
GAPS provides an opportunity for its members to become involved with the University and Athens community by coordinating networking opportunities and programming that promote scholarship, academic excellence, community service and outreach, advocacy and activism.
Mary Francis Early Committee Chairs
GAPS, the Graduate School, and the Office of Institutional Diversity will comprise the Mary Frances Early committee. This committee is responsible for the publicity of and overall execution of this event.

Professional Development Committee Chair
Shall organize professional development talks, events and/or seminars for the graduate community. The professional development committee will also keep GAPS members informed of seminars and conferences that would benefit the organization and its’ members. In addition, professional development members will encourage members to represent GAPS at the graduate school seminars provided by the University of Georgia.

Social Affairs Committee Chair
Plan and organizes social events and develops any fundraising activities. In addition, the committee keeps members informed of social events in the University of Georgia, Athens, and Atlanta communities.
